Epigenetics Report Panel
Comprehensive Epigenetics
Our comprehensive Epigenetics Report tests for Biological Age, including Eye Age, Hearing Age, Memory Age, and Inflammation Score.
Chronological Age and Biological age
Chronological age is the exact number of years that one has been alive. Whereas biological age is how the cells are actually aging. Our Epigenetics Panel allows you to recommend exercise, diet, lifestyle, and environmental changes specific to the patient.
Our Epigenetic analysis provides results in seven key areas. We start with overall biological age which is a holistic reflection of health. We then calculate three further areas that all deteriorate as we age. These results will determine if patients are aging faster or slower than their chronological age, providing opportunities for positive changes and your recommendations.
Memory Age: There are ever-increasing links between aging and memory loss or more serious brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and dementia. Helping patients take steps to improve their memory early will play an important role in their lives as they grow older.
Eye Age: Fundamentally, there are two main areas that we need to improve to try and reduce eye degeneration, which is inflammation and oxidization. Both play a crucial part in sustaining eye health.
Inflammation: Inflammation can be a double-edged sword; in one instance it is required by the body to help promote tissue repair and recovery as well as fighting off bugs and viruses. Persistent high inflammation is a potential indication of something more serious. We provide results for pro-inflammation, anti-inflammation, and an overall inflammation score to help you give patients specific answers.
We recommend repeating an epigenetic test every three to six months to monitor changes in patients' epigenetic results.
