Nutrigenomics is the study of how an individual’s genetic makeup influences their response to nutrients and how diet can impact gene expression and health. It combines nutrition, genomics, and molecular biology to understand the relationship between food and genes.

Yes, a trained provider goes over the genetics reports with each patient. This is either done in the provider office, a telemedicine company, or our internal specialists depending on which panel is ordered. 

Included in each kit is a cheek swab. Follow the instructions provided, and mail the sample back to the ExtendingME laboratory. All packaging and postage are provided. 

ExtendingME uses the self-collecting Tasso device. It’s a simple device that applies to the shoulder. All instructions are included with each kit, and the sample is mailed back to the ExtendingME laboratory.

No. Although we can test for BRCA Genes, we focus more on Nutrigenomics. 

ExtendingME analyzes over 1 million SNP’s. Once the Foundational Panel is ordered, providers and patients have access to new panels released quarterly. And, as new science develops, ExtendingME makes sure this information is sent to both the provider and patient. All patients can expect a new panel sent to their portal quarterly. 

At ExtendingME, we focus on “holistic” therapies. However, we also know each individual processes food differently. We help find the right food options to overcome any genetic weakness, rather than a pharmaceutical. 

No. However, as part of our service, we route each patient to schedule a 30 minutes session with a qualified expert. (Our Longevity Playbook and Foundational Test only)

Yes. Not only is your information secure, we do not share any result information unless authorized by the patient.
